The Dell EMC PowerEdge R7515 (2U rack system) is a 1-socket, 2U server that is designed to run complex workloads using highly scalable memory, I/O ports, and network channels. The system is based on the 2nd and 3rd Generation AMD EPYC processors, which support several SKUs ranging from 16 cores and up to 64 cores, up to 16 DIMMs, PCI Express-4.0 enabled expansion slots, and a choice of LOM riser technologies. The R7515 is a general-purpose platform capable of handling demanding workloads and applications such as data warehouses, ecommerce, databases, and high-performance computing. Also, the server provides extraordinary storage capacity options, making it well-suited for data-intensive applications without sacrificing I/O performance.
