The MD2412 and MD2424 2U models use 3.5” HDDs and 2.5” SSDs respectively while the MD2460 4U dense model uses 3.5” HDDs and will scale up to 2.4PB. Systems administrators can use iDRAC to monitor and manage each MD model connected to PowerEdge servers, even when the server is turned off. iDRAC simplifies local and remote management tasks for administrators with a choice of using web-based or command line interfaces.
